Zdenka Skládalová, née Komárková, was born on 3 April 1936 in the village of Stínava near Prostějov. In the interview, she recalls the end of the war, when the retreating German soldiers were passing through the village, and also the arrival of the Red Army soldiers. The family owned a small farm. In the 1950s, the father volunteered to join the local unified agricultural cooperative and became its chairman. After completing her studies, Zdenka worked at the OP Prostějov factory and later at Gala Prostějov. At the time of the interview in 2025, she was still living in her native village of Stínava.
