Rodina Jana Kopečka, otce pamětníka. Jan Kopeček st. je v uniformě československé armády, vedle něj stojící jsou jeho bratři. Bratr Josef (vlevo) byl také členem odboje organizovaného Českobratrskou církví, nacisty odsouzený k trestu smrti. Nakonec odsouzen na 15 let káznice, část obvinění na sebe vzal českobratrský kněz, který byl následně popraven.

The family of Jan Kopeček the Elder, witness' father. Jan Kopeček the Elder is wearing the Czechoslovak army uniform, his brothers are standing next to him. His brother Josef (left) was a member of resistance group organised by the Church of the Moravian Brethren. He was first sentenced to death by the Nazis, later, the verdict was changed to 15 years of imprisonment as another resistance fighter confessed to a part of Josef's conviction and later, he was executed.
